Trade Update: DIS

Last week, I entered trades in Disney in my Trading account and my Roth IRA. I must say I am feeling pretty happy about the results of those trades.

In my trading account, I bought 2 May 65 calls for $0.62 with an exit point of $1.65. I adjust my exit point to $1.50 instead as I wanted to enter a different trade.

Here’s a look at how I did in this account:

# Shares or Contracts Purch Price Capital Out Sell Price Capital In Comm & Fees Gain / Loss

% Gain & Loss

2 0.62 124.00 1.50 300.00 10.00 166.00 133.9%

In my Roth IRA, I bought 200 May 65 calls for $0.63. My loss limit is $0.50 and exit point is $1.65.

Here’s a look at how I did in this account:

# Shares or Contracts Purch Price Capital Out Sell Price Capital In Comm & Fees Gain / Loss

% Gain & Loss

200 0.63 12,600.00 1.65 33,000.00 400.00 20,000.00 158.7%

My charts for this trade:

130304 HLF

Most times I am looking for the best point of entry intraday. For these trades, I wasn’t too concerned with my intraday entry. Although I marked my entry point on the 21min chart (far right), I only did it for informational purposes.
