thinkorswim: I absolutely love this charting platform! It is very versatile and allows me to save multiple screen configurations. I use different chart timeframes depending on the time of year and trading technique I am using so, this feature is very useful. thinkorswim is also loaded with just about any chart study you can think of and they are fully customizable as well. It also has a Trader TV gadget that streams CNBC and a Scan feature that allows you to search for stocks that meet certain criteria. Thinkorswim had a recent update to their mobile app that provides more chart enhancements and customized charts which is very beneficial for my trading style.

Trading Journal

I currently use spreadsheets I built in Numbers to track the G/L of all my trades (one spreadsheet for each account). Each spreadsheet shows my overall progress for the year and has a tab for listing the trades made each month. You can preview these by checking out any of my monthly or yearly trading recap posts.
